CSA is not for everyone. If you are looking for discounted, bulk vegetables this is not for you. If you are looking for total meal plans with prepackaged, premeasured ingredients CSA is not for you.

CSA is a total experience that requires your participation. Open communication and a relationship with your farmer are necessary to making the experience work for everyone.

Part of the experience is learning to eat the CSA way. This a whole new way to eat for most people. With stores making almost every food available year round, you probably are not used to eating a seasonal, veggie dense diet. It takes time and practice to incorporate everything that is provided weekly through the CSA into your meals. Do not fret, if you need help with recipes, storage, or other information about your produce, as your farmer that’s why I’m here.
